Training your team is simple.
When a customer redeems a THRIVE discount, here's exactly what your staff will see — and what to do.
Confirm it's active
The customer's screen reads "Discount Redeemed!" with a green "Active" badge. No green badge means the offer can't be applied.
Apply the code in your POS
Enter the discount code shown (e.g. PROMO15) and apply the offer at checkout like any other promo.
Say thanks
Thank them for giving back to the community. That's it — the transaction is logged in your dashboard automatically.
Rotate your code monthly
Each offer has a unique redemption code. Rotating it monthly keeps codes from being passed around to non-donors and protects your margin.
How it works
On the 1st of each month, we email a friendly reminder. Rotating takes about 30 seconds — log into the vendor portal and click the rotate icon next to your code.
Don't forget
Update the new code in your POS so it works at checkout. The old code stops working immediately and the new one appears in the THRIVE app right away.
Tip: Experiment with different discounts and keep the ones that bring in the most customers. You can change your offer anytime from the dashboard.
